Takes about a minute
Installing Easy Bake on your phone
Easy Bake comes straight from us rather than the Play Store, so your phone asks for permission once along the way. Nothing here is unusual — it is Android checking that you meant to do it. You only go through this the first time.
- 01 Tap the download button above, on your phone. Chrome may say the file could harm your device. That message appears for every app that does not come from the Play Store. Tap Download anyway.
- 02 Open the file when it finishes. Tap the download notification, or find EasyBake.apk in your Downloads folder and tap it.
- 03 Allow the install. Your phone will say something like "your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source". Tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then press back. This gives permission to Chrome, not to us, and you can switch it off again afterwards.
- 04 Tap Install. If Play Protect offers to scan the app, let it. If it says the app is unrecognised, choose More details and then Install anyway.
- 05 Open Easy Bake and sign up. Use an email address you check. That address is your account and your subscription, so use the same one if you ever reinstall.
If it will not install
"App not installed" usually means an older copy is still
on the phone. Uninstall Easy Bake and try again — your orders live in the
app, so back them up first if you have any.
Nothing happens when you tap the file — open your
Downloads app and tap EasyBake.apk from there instead.
Still stuck? Send us a message and we will talk you
through it. We would rather hear from you than have you give up.
Updates
When there is a new version we will email you a link. Download it and install it the same way — it installs straight over the old one and your orders, customers and recipes stay exactly where they are.
