Questions
Is this an official Department of Basic Education product?
No. WSE Manager is an independent tool made by Business By Design to help schools complete the self-evaluation and improvement plan. It is not issued or endorsed by the Department.
Who can see our school's information?
Only the people you add to your school. Each school's information is kept separate. A district official can see your evaluation only if they have been linked to your school and only after you submit it.
What happens after the free trial?
Your information stays safe. If you do not continue, your school becomes read-only, so you can still look at your work and export it. When you pay, you can carry on where you stopped.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. You can export your ratings and evidence as a spreadsheet and a ZIP file at any time.
Is my learners' personal information stored?
The app records school-level information such as learner numbers per grade, not learner names. See our privacy policy for details.
Can the district or circuit office use it for all its schools?
Yes, that is what the district view is for. Get in touch and we will set up your officials and the schools they should see.
